MATES Mental Health and Wellbeing Walk & Talks
What are Mental Health and Wellbeing Walk & Talks?
Since January 2019 we have held our weekly Mental Health and Wellbeing Walk & Talks as a place where people can come and get things off of their chest and share their problems or concerns, or just get out of the house.
No photos, no notes, no stigma, just a nice walk and chat in the safety of people that care and will not judge.
They generally last for about an hour around the beautiful park. Organised by MATES (Mental health Awareness Through Educational Speaking) mental health group, it's a great opportunity to come and blow away the cobwebs and get out of the house. Have a chat about mental health or just meet new people.
Anything that’s said is confidential; no judgement, no notes, no videos, no photos... just people that care x

This is great, especially for people with anxiety.
